Main Duties
- Setting and operating CNC Lathes
- Programme writing and editing
- Machining components to drawings
- Working to machining tolerances ensuring finished parts meet required specification
- Communicate with Engineering, Production and Quality Departments to complete work to schedule

Job Skills and Requirements
- Conversant with Fanuc programming language with the ability to write and edit Fanuc programmes from engineering drawings
- Mechanically minded hands on methodical worker with high standards
- Qualifications and experience of working with Fanuc controlled CNC lathes
- The ability to use various types of measuring equipment
- Can understand and read engineering drawings
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and high targets due to the fast paced nature of the role
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and rules
- Wage dependent upon experience

- Programming and setting CNC lathes: 6 years
