CNC Programmer/Setter
Main Duties
- Setting and operating CNC Lathes
- Programme writing and editing
- Machining components to drawings
- Working to machining tolerances ensuring finished parts meet required specification
- Communicate with Engineering, Production and Quality Departments to complete work to schedule
CNC Operator
Main Duties
- Setting tools and jaws in CNC Lathes
- Operating CNC lathes to machine precision components
- Checking machined components meet drawing specifications
- Measuring and checking own work using various measuring equipment
Cylinder Fitter/Tester
Main Duties
- Building hydraulic cylinders
- Checking the cylinders comply with the specifications
- General engineering assembly/fitting
- Fault find and repair
- Pressure testing
CNC Apprenticeship
Main Duties
- Learn how to program, set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Be shown how to read and understand technical drawings
- Full training provided through our chosen training provider as well as in company training
- Complete all work to high company standards
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines
Welding Apprenticeship
Main Duties
- Learn how to weld metal components using MIG and TIG techniques
- Be shown how to read and understand technical drawings
- Full training provided through our chosen training provider as well as in company training
- Complete all work to high company standards
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines
